The Cremation Process

Cremation is the process where a pet's remains are consumed by intense heat, reducing the body to bone fragments. These remains are allowed to cool and then placed in a processor to reduce the remains to a fine ash. The ash is then carefully placed into the selected urn and given back to the owner.

Our cremation unit is a CU-150 Thermogenic Series, which is a natural gas fired cremator. It is engineered to meet local and federal regulations for the cremation industry in Canada. Your pet will be identified by a specifically numbered steel I.D. disc which stays with your pet during the entire cremation and processing cycles. This will identify your pet so only your pet’s ashes are returned to you.
